In Memory of George W. Farrell

It is with great sadness that another one of our Rotarians has passed on.  George Farrell went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 2004.

George fought a courageous battle with cancer.  Even though he had cancer his spirits were high until the end.  George was a loving and giving man.  His granddaughter did an exemplary job talking about her grandfather in a recent article in the newspaper.   Up until a few weeks ago George was still attending Rotary not allowing anyone to see his suffering.

Although we are sad to see our friend and fellow Rotarian go we also have a sense of relief that George is in a better place with no pain and no suffering.
